Time Goes By

This house has changed so much. This his Grandma and Grandpa Chipman's house on the farm. When I was little they had several arches of land north of the house that we would run around on. They had a motorcycle that the boys would fight over and the tree swing over the Irrigation. They sold that land and there is now a church on it but still that house sat. We had tons of summers out on that grass. Now that Grandma and grandpa are both gone the house has changed hands. My cousin now lives there and is trying to fix it up. The time goes by and it look so different. It does look really good. I should also find some pictures of the inside and take some now. Michelle has done a great job making it hers. I will never be able to call it Michelle's house. It is still Grandpas house up on the farm....

I'm glad it has stayed in the family, though. I drive past my Grandparents' house and cry. The house has changed hands many times since they died and each family totally changed so much about it. I miss it!

I drive by my grnadparents house when I go home to Califorina and it makes me cry. I miss them and all the warm memories of being at their house. I wish I could just walk in and time would restart. The whole family there and enjoying all the love that was shared in their home. I guess that is what heavan would be like. I hope their home in heaven looks like the one that they had here.
You are lucky it is still owned by family.

It would be really weird to see it change. I know it was hard when we moved into our house. It hadn't changed in twenty years or more, and we took everything down! David's grandpa was awesome about letting us do what we wanted, and never complained! :)
